I was raised in Sydney, and completed a combined Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and Science (Physics and Mathematics) at the University of Sydney from 2000-2005. I did my DPhil in Atomic and Laser Physics at the University of Oxford from 2006-2010, and post-doctoral fellowships at ICFO in Barcelona and Imperial College London. I am now Senior Optical Physicist / System Architect at Fathom Computing.
